enough = …พอที่จะ
ใช้เมื่อทั้งสองประโยคเป็นบอกเล่าทั้งคู่ หรือ ปฏิเสธทั้งคู่ และ enough จะต้องวางหลัง adj. หรือ adv. ที่มันขยาย
ตัวอย่าง
He is quite old. He should know better. –> He is old enough to know better.
He is not well-off. He cannot afford a car. –> He is not well-off enough to efford a car.
